PHOTOACTIVE SOL-GEL COATINGS FOR SHORT-WAVE RADIATION SENSORS

Active layers based on ZnOX:MgO are proposed for selective sensors of short-wave radiation. Si/ZnOX:MgO heterostructures for solar-blind sensors were formed. These sensors allow solving great number of problems in industrial, medical, environmental nature, they can also be used in space and military technology.

ADVANTAGES OF SOL-GEL TECHNOLOGY:

  • high chemical homogeneity and purity of active layer components;
  • simplicity and manageability of the process;
  • low cost of equipment.

CHARACTERISTICS OF ACTIVE LAYERS:

  • formation on the substrate by centrifugation, dipping;
  • annealing temperature 500-550°С;
  • more than 92% transmission in the visible spectrum;
  • band gap 5.7-6.2 eV;
  • selective sensitivity to short-wave radiation ((l< 280 нм).
  • layers are non-toxic and chemically resistant
